The Board of Indian Overseas Bank, in its meeting held on Tuesday, has appointed Akshit Choudhary, General Manager as Chief Financial Officer of the Bank with effect from November 1, 2026. This appointment is in place of Madhaw Chandra Jha, Deputy General Manager, the public sector bank said in an exchange filing.

Choudhary is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of professional experience across banking, financial services, auditing, treasury, and business operations.

His professional journey includes stints with the Punjab & Sind Bank, PwC SDC and State Bank of India.
